The Mason Jar Cafe is hosting a Give Back Dinner this Friday, October 11th to support the Citadel Dance & Music Center’s Capital Campaign. The Citadel is purchasing the Hinkley Building in downtown Benton Harbor’s Arts District to assure the future of the Dance Program and to continue hosting events in the Oak Room at the Citadel.
Supporters of the Citadel program have an opportunity to enjoy a delicious dinner at the Mason Jar Friday night, while helping boost the fund raising effort. Dinner will be served from 6-8 pm, including appetizer, main course and dessert. The cost is $70 per person. Live musical entertainment will offered during dinner. To date $200,000 of $600,000 needed has been raised through generous support of the Southwest Michigan community. “ Citadel Executive Director Susan Dieterich-Reed says the organization “strives to inspire a sense of excitement and curiosity and to instill the disciplines of Dance & Music as art forms and a way of life.” The Mason Jar Café is located at 210 Water Street in the Benton Harbor Arts District.
