With a dual purpose affording both a key networking opportunity for business leaders and the community-at-large and a celebration of business accomplishments, Market Van Buren is hosting its first-ever Business Recognition Awards Ceremony late this month as a salute to pioneering community investors.
The inaugural Market Van Buren Business Recognition Awards Ceremony will feature a dinner networking hour, a keynote address by Brian Calley, former Lt. Governor and President of the Small Business Association of Michigan, and an awards ceremony along with excellent food, beer and wine from local brewers and distributors, and entertainment by the Magic of Trino.
Market Van Buren is the economic development organization dedicated to the advancement of economic growth in Van Buren County. The organization was formed to bring the public and private sectors together to advance the economic interests of Van Buren county. The awards ceremony and networking event will take place from 5 until 9pm on Wednesday, June 29th at the Black River Barn located at 07737 73rd Street in South Haven. Here is the schedule for the night:
5 pm | Networking & Dinner
Dinner is served outdoors in a small plate style until 6 pm. The networking and dinner hour will feature entertainment by the Magic of Trino.
6:15 pm | Keynote Speaker
Those in attendance will hear from Brian Calley, the 63rd Lieutenant Governor of the State of Michigan and current President of the Small Business Association of Michigan, as well as Zach Morris, Executive Director of Market Van Buren, and local business owners.
7.15 pm | Intermission
7:30 pm | Awards Ceremony
A time to celebrate Pioneer Investors and recipients of the inaugural Market Van Buren Business Recognition Awards.
8:15 pm | Networking & Coffee
Networking will continue over coffee and dessert until 9 pm.
