If you’re looking for a steady paycheck with benefits and beyond the team at Special-Lite of Benton
Township has multiple opportunities now open and will actually conduct a major Hiring Event one week from tomorrow, on Friday, April 23rd, from 10am until 4pm.
You may recall our report here last month that the company is investing up to $2.3-million in their manufacturing plant located at 1394 East Empire Avenue following the relocation of their fiberglass pultruding and manufacturing operations from Arkansas to Michigan.
As a result, they’ve been working to add 35 new employees immediately with the expansion expected to create more than 60 new jobs over the next three years.
At next Friday’s Hiring Event, Special-Lite will be conducting on-site interviews to fill more than 20 hourly production positions at the East Empire facility. Offers will be extended that same day for qualified candidates who can readily step into the new positions.
Minimum starting pay for these jobs is $14.00 per hour and the company offers great benefits including paid vacation and sick time.
Founded in 1971, Special-Lite designs, engineers and manufactures high-performance architectural building products, which include commercial entrance systems, interior aluminum (Type II) framing with swing or sliding aluminum framed doors, and Fiberglass Reinforced Polyester (FRP) restroom partitions. The company originated the use of FRP material for door skins in the early 1980’s and is the largest volume producer of that style of commercial doors in the entire United States today.
