Local Business Owner, Anne Reitz, Wins Enterprising Women Award

Despite the ever-challenging past few years in industries of retail, food service, and other small businesses, there are some local shops that have seen an explosion of support.  Caffe Tosi in St. Joseph, for one, is thriving. Their firm presence on social media provides food and beverage specials, gorgeous photos, and the assurance that though the pandemic still exists, business is booming.

To not just sustain your business, but to grow it deserves applause, and recognition has been dispensed: in November of 2021, Anne Reitz, owner of Caffe Tosi and Wally & Gertz at Silver Beach, was a recipient of the Enterprising Women of the Year award, presented by Enterprising Women Magazine.

This magazine, based out of North Carolina, recognizes and showcases women business owners in America who continue to prevail and lead in the business world. Anne was one of over one hundred women business owners in the country to receive recognition, and she also placed in the ‘Over $1 Million In Revenue Sales’ category.

Those who win this award are some of the world’s most dynamic top entrepreneurs and women leaders. “Winning this award is a once in a lifetime opportunity,” says Enterprising Women Ceo Monica Smiley.

Anne states that she has had record sales, increased profits, and actively hired more staff during the pandemic. In 2020, revenues between her businesses surpassed $1.4 million.
Active in the community and a mentor for her employees, Anne has created a brand for her businesses that is more than just a logo. “The identity of Caffe Tosi reflects the continued passion and energy we have and will embrace forward.”
