Lemon Creek Winery has once again put together a fun afternoon and evening of blues, food and wine at their annual “Vintage Blues Bash” on August 3rd from 12 – 7pm.
It’s non-stop sizzling blues bands, dancing, wine tasting, grilled food and summer fun. Blues lovers will enjoy the relaxed atmosphere while you sip a glass of wine on the lawn, or boogie down on the dance floor. Bring a lawn chair, blanket and snacks or enjoy a meal at one of our food trucks.
Starting at Noon, JR Clark & the All Star Blues Mob. JR Clark fronts the band on vocals and guitar. Melding a host of influences such as, Michael Burks, Luther Allison, and Larry McCray, J R puts out a big sound of house rockn’ blues, soul, and southern rock of his own!
Next up will be Shake N’ Chill, a classic blues band out of Indiana with what has been called some “ smokin’ rhythm and blues.”
Finishing the evening with The Head Honchos, a band grounded on the foundations of American blues, rock, soul, and funk. The Head Honchos Band launches every tune with an irresistible invitation to kick back, let go, and enthusiastically ENJOY!!!
Patrons will have the opportunity to purchase wood fired pizzas, ribs and much more will be available for purchase from Classic Catering and Woodstock & Grill!
Admission is $12.00 per person 21 and older, under 21 free when accompanied by parents. The gate fee entitles you to admission, parking, wristband for re-entry, a ticket for 3 free wine tastings of estate grown, award winning Lemon Creek wine, plus a souvenir wine glass.
Lawn chairs or blankets are encouraged. Only small coolers are allowed and will be searched. No outside alcohol is permitted (outside alcohol will either be confiscated or you will be asked to leave).
