Best advice you ever got?
When one door closes, another opens.
Who inspires you most?
My clients!
That one thing about you we’d be most surprised to learn.
I auditioned for NBC’s The Voice!
What do you love to do in your downtime?
I’m a big beach bum, so during the summer that’s where you will find me during my downtime. Contrary to popular belief, personal trainers DON’T actually just work out all day, so I also love to get a good workout in on my own time when I can!
I also really love a good nap, ha!
What book are you reading now?
Find Your Why by Simon Sinek
Volunteer activity you love the most.
I have been a Co-Chair for the Miss St. Joseph Blossomtime Pageant since 2009. We teach young adults how to carry themselves, how to confidently get through an interview, coach them on public speaking, and help them with overall self-confidence and life skills they won’t learn in school. It’s a very rewarding experience!
What motivates you to give back to your community?
There is something special about being able to give back to a community of people that you can recognize and know so many by name. This area has been so supportive of me and my journey as a professional and I want to be able to return the favor by sharing my passion and energy.
What Superpower would you most love to have? (for example, the ability to fly or to be invisible, or incredible strength, etc)
Flying would be amazing so I can travel and enjoy more experiences all over the world!
What would you like to leave behind as your legacy once you are gone?
I would like my legacy to be a passion for inspiring others whether that be in fitness or in life.
What does the honor of being named to the 40 Under 40 most mean to you?
To be selected as part of this group means that I am accomplishing something bigger than I thought possible for myself, I am making a difference in my community that is noticeable enough that others think it should be recognized, and that is a HUGE honor. It’s a wonderful feeling to know that my hard work and efforts are making an impact in a positive way.
