Lake Michigan College Offering Virtual Career & Program Expo Next Week

Whether the pandemic has convinced you that you need a new career, or you’re considering learning a trade at the collegiate level, or just trying to figure out where to go next in life, the team at Lake Michigan College has slated a unique Virtual Career & Program Expo designed for prospective students at any of their campuses in Michigan’s Great Southwest.

Your chance to learn about a whole host of offerings or just to find out “what it’s like to be a Red Hawk,” is coming up one week from today, on Thursday, April 22nd from 5 until 7pm and you don’t even have to leave your living room to be a part of it.

This free event is designed to answer questions for high school students and their parents, adult students who are thinking of attending or returning to college, and students interested in transferring to another institution.

LMC’s Director of Admissions and Recruitment Jeremy Schaeffer says, “This is a great way to explore our academic programs and meet some of our faculty members.” He adds, “You will learn about university transfer, degree and certificate options, access to advising and financial aid services, and student life opportunities. Whether you plan to start with us in the summer or fall of 2021 or are just starting to explore college options, this event will get you started on your journey.”

Participants will be able to explore up to eight different academic programs live and receive access to all presentation recordings. Faculty will share information about their program followed by an opportunity for a brief question and answer session.

Programs represented include:

  • Accounting
