One of my biggest accomplishments is being a working mom of my two wonderful children and a supportive wife. I have a great career, my first 8 years in teaching and now in agricultural loan processing.

What else do you hope to accomplish by the age of 40? I want to continue providing a loving home for my family and a warm and welcoming place for friends. I strive to be a safe place for all. I will continue to develop new professional skills to keep growing my professional success.

Current City: Dowagiac, MI

Place You Were Born: Evergreen Park, IL

What was your first job? I spent a lot of time babysitting through middle school and high school. My first paycheck was from bussing tables at Woodfire in Dowagiac.

What motivates you to give back to your community? I am motivated to give children a better experience than they would have had otherwise; with the increases in living expenses, I want to give back to the families that can’t afford to do as much as they want to. I love working hard so that any child that needs or wants to do something new can experience it. I love to find donors to support children’s desires. I want to help create a space where children can be their authentic self where it is safe for them to learn and make mistakes. I feel very passionate about building up today’s children so they can be our future and do even more than we can imagine now.

What Superpower would you most love to have? I would love to teleport! That would add so much time to my day to get even more done or maybe even give me some downtime.

What would you like to leave behind as your legacy once you are gone? I would like people to know they were loved as they are. No one should have to do extra to be loved and cared for, every person is important.

What does the honor of being named to the 40 Under 40 most mean to you? I am honored that I was thought of for this recognition. I am just a normal person who is trying my best to be helpful, loving, and give back to my community. I am proud that my work hasn’t gone unnoticed and that it means something to other people in our community.
