Calling it a tough decision, the Krasl Art Center will cease public operations until the 11th of December in light of the current pandemic conditions. The announcement was made this afternoon.
Krasl officials say, “In the interest of public health, Krasl Art Center has made the tough decision to again close temporarily. Limited access by appointment will be available for The Shop and for the current exhibitions. All in-person events will be moved to a virtual platform.”
Individual households are invited to explore the exhibitions Artists as Influencers: Pathways in Glass and Shelter-in-Place through November 29th. The community may pre-schedule limited times to explore the galleries and discover regional artists in The Shop. To schedule your visit or learn more about such opportunities, email curatorial@krasl.org.
All in-person events associated with the upcoming 2020 Members’ Show: Inspired By… will be virtual. The opening celebration scheduled for December 4th has been canceled. Artists proposing artwork for the members’ show will receive further instructions via email.
