Veteran area banker Stacey Stephens is the new Vice President, Senior Commercial Loan Officer at Horizon Bank in Michigan and Indiana.
Bruce Piekarski, Market President, said in her role, Stephens will expand market share through loan and deposit growth in Southwest Michigan & North Central Indiana, while maintaining and strengthening existing business client base. She will strive to provide exceptional customer service and sound financial advice by leveraging industry experience and community involvement.
Stephens holds a bachelor’s in public administration from Grand Valley State University and an MBA from Indiana University – South Bend. Previously, she served as Vice President of the Business Banking Group, Senior Director of Entrepreneurship & Special Projects, and held various roles in business development and lending within the Southwest Michigan banking industry.
Active in the community, Stephens serves as Immediate Past President and current Board Member of the Lakeshore Rotary Club, Secretary of Great Lakes Commercial Finance, and a member of the Berrien Community Foundation’s Women’s Giving Circle.
