Honor Credit Union is expanding to a new Royalton Township location to accommodate new digital upgrades and its growing team.
Beginning in early 2025, about 60 employees will relocate from Honor’s Operations Center in Berrien Springs to a currently vacant space on the corner of Glenlord and Hollywood Road (the complex anchored by Roger’s Foodland). These employees include team members who work in Honor’s Contact Center, and Video Teller Machine operators. The space will be dedicated to internal operations and will not be open to Honor members or the general public.
The extra space is needed due to a technology initiative to upgrade the credit union’s digital services and tools.
“In the past two years, our IT team has tripled in size,” said Megan Hendrix, Chief Operating Officer. “We’re investing resources to keep pace with technological advancements in the industry, while ensuring we maintain the high standards for local, personal member service we’ve come to be known for.”
The Glenlord & Hollywood property, owned by Giannola Investments, is located at 4083 Hollywood Road. The five-year lease begins immediately.
Honor said the new space will feature noise reduction for improved call experience, private meeting areas, a kitchen, and close proximity to neighborhoo amenities.
Honor Credit Union is a non-profit, full-service financial institution serving over 110,000 members in 28 member center communities throughout Western and Northern Michigan. For more information, visit www.honorcu.com.
