Local social media restaurant sites can rest easy… one of their major speculation points has been put to rest! The Galley Grill has announced its ‘landing spot’.
The popular breakfast restaurant that closed last week in the Super 8 Motel complex on Lakeshore Drive/Red Arrow Highway has announced its planned new location, down the street closer to Exit 23 of I-94.
The Galley Grill will be taking over vacant space in a free-standing building at 2615 West Marquette Woods Road, formerly the home of Rios restaurant and Popeye’s.
The new Galley Grill location is a perfect spot for a breakfast place–near several hotels (Baymont, Comfort Suites and Tru) and just off the I-94 interchange. No date for opening at the new location was given in the Galley Grill announcement.
Fans of the Galley Grill had been speculating on social media about where the eatery would land, with many pointing to either Bridgman or M-139 in Benton Harbor. Few, if any, had mentioned the eventually chosen spot.
The Galley Grill is known for its omelets, daily specials and reasonable prices.
