Fully Alive at Ten and Counting

There’s little doubt that at times her past ten years have raced along like a chase to the finish line, and other times the pace may well have been excruciating as she underwent her own growing pains. In the end though, ten certainly looks good on Dr. Tara Scharich of St. Joseph as she marks her 10th Anniversary Celebration tomorrow, Thursday, August 24th with an all day Open House, and gets ready for the next ten.

The good doctor’s Fully Alive Family Chiropractic Center has been anchored at 2600 Lincoln Avenue ever since Cornerstone Chamber of Commerce and the community leaders from St. Joseph Charter Township helped mark her ribbon cutting ceremony with great flourish.

Now, ten years later, her practice is thriving as she strives to achieve her mission in life of Creating a Healthier Community Together.

The entire community is invited to Dr. Tara’s Open House Celebrating 10 Years with food, fun and prizes from 8:30am Thursday through 6:30pm. Visitors are encouraged to drop in at any time throughout the day.

Dr. Scarich founded her practice on being something far more than simply a medical clinic. As a fifth generation Chiropractor, Dr. Tara says she “grew up believing our bodies are amazing and that healing occurs from above down and inside out.” Her gentle chiropractic adjustments remove interference to your body’s nervous system so it can function as it was designed.

The Doc will tell you, “At Fully Alive Family Chiropractic, we focus on improving the quality of your life and health.”

As a college student, Dr. Tara moved to the United States from Manitoba, Canada to earn her Bachelor of Science degree at Michigan Tech, where she also met her future husband. She furthered her education at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa where she earned her Doctoral Degree.

During her time at Palmer College, Dr. Scharich took a specific interest in pediatric chiropractic. These studies inspired her to open a Chiropractic office that focuses on family care–supporting strong and healthy lifestyles for both adults and children. If you ever have an end-of-the-day appointment, it is likely you will bump into her husband (Dave), and children (David, Gabby, and Joshua), as they come in for their weekly wellness adjustments.

As she and her crew celebrate their tenth year in business, they hope to see you at any time throughout the day on Thursday for the celebration.
