A rainy Wednesday is the perfect time to go see a free concert, and you can do so tonight, Wednesday, June 8th at Howard Performing Arts Center in Berrien Springs.
At 4160 E. Campus Circle Drive on the campus of Andrews University, the Howard Performing Arts Center is one of our chief sites for musical performances in the area. Tonight, (6/8), a traveling group from Germany will be performing a violin and piano recital, completely free to the public.
Beginning at 7:00 p.m, ‘More Kids 4 Music’ violinists Ariane Dernbach, Beatrice Ghisoiu, Maxima Ghisoiu, and pianist Angela Gehann-Dernbach will present many classical pieces by composers Bach, Elgar, Beriot, Bartok, Massenet, and more.
Howard Performing Arts Center is a gorgeous, state of the art facility that has brought many international performers to Southwest Michigan since 2003. From groups like the Canadian Brass, Vienna Choir Boys, and Tokyo String Quartet, this performance space is a gem to concert goers, music students, and all members of the community.
