Coming soon to downtown Buchanan will be food trucks. LiveBuchanan Manager Ashley Regal tells us they’re coming as part of a new promotion called Munchie Mondays, to feature food, drinks, and music downtown each Monday. She says having some food trucks downtown for the day will liven things up.
“Because they’re often am more causal setting to be outside and walking around, I think it just brings that energy whenever they show up,” Regal said. “Then of course, it’s something different. You want to go try something new that isn’t there all to he time, so it’s more of an experience that way.”
Food trucks will be stationed along Days Avenue and downtown restaurants will promote pick-up and window service options on Munchie Mondays. Those who go are encouraged to buy their orders to go or stop by the new “food truck alley” and dine at public outdoor seating areas. The trucks will be there throughout the day starting around 11:30, and there will be live music at night. Everything will wrap up around 7. Munchie Mondays will start May 15 and continue through the end of July. Everyone’s invited to “Roll into Buchanan” to enjoy the summer.
