Over seven inches of rain in the Bridgman area is leading to road closures.  MoodyOnTheMarket.com will pass along road closure updates from Berrien County and other local officials where significant roads are impacted.

BRIDGMAN AREA FLOODING EVENT & POWER OUTAGE UPDATE

EVENT:
• Southwest Berrien County experienced significant rainfall over night causing localized flooding
and road closures. Estimated rainfall amount in the Bridgman area is around 7.5 inches. We will
be updating road closure maps as updates come in.
• AEP is on site assessing the Bridgman substation which is underwater causing power outages.
• The Berrien County Emergency Operations Center has been activated to address possible cooling
centers as heat index reach over 100 degrees. Information will be pushed through social media as
updates occur.
TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS: Social Media and Website will be updated with closures.
Currently Holden Road from Shawnee Road to Snow Road is closed due to water over the road.
