Eau Claire has joined the parade of Southwest Michigan communities with a weekly ‘farmers market.’ The Friday event has been organized by local realtor Chris Siriano.
“We’re inviting anyone interested in being a part of a new Farmers & Artisan Market in downtown Eau Claire to please join in!! We would love to get a group of farmers from Michigan or Northern Indiana to bring their fruits, produce, baked goods, eggs, flowers, artwork, etc to sell in the large parking lot of our Eau Claire Antique Mall at 6507 E. Main Street! It’s always FREE to all vendors!”
Siriano was pleased with the turnout for the first gathering today.
“Today has already been an EXCITING day with the first group of vendors and lots of lookers & buyers, with items like baked goods including various breads, fresh local flowers, hand painted rocks, hand lotions, bath bombs, custom made toy items, arts, etc!”
Siriano said people with questions about the new weekly even should message him through his Facebook page or call/text him at 269-325-0039 for further information.
