Edgewater Automation has announced that founder and soon-to-be-former president, Rick Blake has been named Chief Executive Officer and Tim Tate has been named President of the company.
According to a statement from Edgewater, Tim has a deep background in industrial automation industry, he joined the company in 2006 as a machine builder, and steadily advanced into several successive management roles.
“I’ve had the pleasure of working with Tim for many years, going back to when he started his path in the automation industry as an apprentice machine builder. Tim has, over many years in the business, shown himself to be a hard worker, talented manager, and natural leader. I am confident he will help Edgewater Automation thrive in the coming years,” said Blake.
On the transition, Tate said, “Walking the path paved by mentors I deeply respect, I set my own goals and chased them with everything I had – commitment, focus, passion, and yes, some sacrifices. Embrace the journey of learning daily, push your limits for personal growth, and always be there for those around you, giving your absolute best.”
