The South Haven/Van Buren County Convention & Visitors Bureau (SHVB CVB) and the Paw Paw Downtown Development Authority (DDA) have unveiled new directional signs in downtown Paw Paw.
A ribbon cutting ceremony showcased the signs and celebrated the completion of the project. The two organizations came together to fund the project, which will help visitors easily find their way or get information during their visit.
“These new signs have been a longtime dream for us, and we’re so excited to see them come to life,” said Mary Springer, director of the Paw Paw DDA. “We have a great relationship with the team at the SHVB CVB and we’re grateful to have collaborated with them on this project.”
“This project directly aligns with our destination development efforts in South Haven and since our district spans all of Van Buren County, this was a win-win situation,” said Jennifer Sistrunk, executive director of the SHVB CVB.
Springer says the completion of the project came at a great time as the community prepares for summer, where tourism ramps up.
“We have a lot of great things happening in our community that we’re excited for visitors to check out,” said Springer. “Our shops, restaurants, wineries, and even our kayak launch are all great amenities to check out, and we’re excited to welcome folks to Paw Paw this summer!”
