If you’re looking to spice up your Thursday night dinner plans, you might drop in to Buchanan’s Chili Walk happening April 11.
The Buchanan Area Chamber of Commerce says local businesses and organizations will square off to see who has the best chili in town. The public is encouraged to participate in the sampling, and attendees can vote for their favorite chili and team with the most spirit.
Admission is $5 per spoon and a portion of the proceeds will go to the Tin Shop Theater in Buchanan.
The Chili Walk will be downtown from 5 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. with Lehman’s Farmhouse being the start and endpoint, and there will be three award categories — Judges’ Choice, People’s Choice, and Spirit award.
Each contestant will be matched with a local business to showcase their chili and place of business.
