Portage based dermatology practice has opened an office along St. Joseph’s ‘medical corridor’ at 2570 Niles Road. Southwest Michigan Dermatology has been around for more than 25 years in the region, according to a joint release with the Southwest Michigan Regional Chamber:
The growing need for qualified dermatology services in Southwest Michigan is what led Dr. David Semler and Dr. Craig Mohney to originally open Southwest Michigan Dermatology in 1998. Their first office was in Portage, Michigan, and it quickly grew to be the area’s preeminent dermatology practice. Since then, they have been joined by Dr. Jessica Liggett, Dr. Ryan Jones, Dr. Jeffrey Globerson, Dr. Stephanie Freels (St. Joseph only), and multiple physician assistants and their staff.
Their newest location at 2570 Niles Rd in St. Joseph marks their first in Berrien County, adding to their outlying clinics in Paw Paw, Allegan, Three Rivers. Southwest Michigan Dermatology also has their own Laser & Skin Care Center located next door to their primary medical practice in Portage.
A ribbon cutting celebration with the Southwest Michigan Regional Chamber is being held Friday, September 6th at 1:30 p.m. The public is welcome to attend and connect directly with their providers, learn more about services offered at the St. Joseph location, and hear what makes Southwest Michigan Dermatology different.
