The Women’s Business Center (WBC) at Cornerstone Alliance will offer a new series for aspiring entrepreneurs. Own: Accelerate Your Business Growth in 2022 presented by 1st Source Bank will premiere on January 31, 2022 at 2:30 PM as a hybrid event allowing in-person and virtual attendance.
Own connects successful entrepreneurs with like-minded small business owners. At Own, panelists will train and develop their peers by offering guidance through success stories and experiences. Key information shared will include how business owners can enhance their companies output and manage processes effectively.
Brandon Campbell, WBC Director, said, “This is the right time for small business owners to get equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to effectively grow and sustain their businesses. We created Own as the platform to help facilitate small business owners’ success as they prepare for a post-pandemic economy. The first session of Own will feature panelists including Traci Burton, Founder of Traci Burton & Associates; Melanie Owen, Co-Owner of Lazy Ballerina Winery; and Brian Maynard, Owner of Forte Coffee. Attendees will hear firsthand how panelists increased revenue, found creative ways to access capital, and reached new customers while being adaptable and resilient.
Registration is preferred but walk-ins are welcome. Light refreshments and snacks will be provided. Own is a hybrid event and will have limited space available for in-person participants at the Cornerstone Alliance office located at 80 W. Main Street in Benton Harbor. Cost to attend is $10.
