Thanks to the great humor of Dave Costas and the stars that aligned to result in his father’s victory in winning the first ever “Pat Moody Award” from the Cornerstone Chamber of Commerce, your author has been tabbed “The Big Pepperoni” by a few friends and colleagues since that day back in February. I’m not sure if I approach year two of that award with excitement or trepidation. I do know, however, that the win by Silver Beach Pizza, (where Dave operates as General Manager for his father Jay Costas and partner Tony Bertig) was a very worthy competitor and recipient and I’m looking forward to the nomination process which starts up on Monday.
