Cornerstone Alliance is looking in-house first for its immediate leadership needs, as Rob Cleveland prepares to depart the CEO role for a new job in Louisiana.  The Board has tapped its Chairman, John Janick, and the group’s next ranking executive, Christina Frank, to share the responsibilities being vacated by Cleveland, as the search begins for a permanent President/CEO for the area’s primary economic development organization.

In a statement, the Cornerstone Board described it this way:

John Janick will serve as Interim CEO, bringing his extensive experience in strategic planning and external affairs to the role. He will oversee general strategic planning and manage external relations, including community relations. His leadership will be crucial in maintaining and strengthening the organization’s ties with the community and external stakeholders.

Chris Frank, CEcD, has been appointed Interim President and will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations. Her duties will include staffing, project management, investor relations, and interactions with community leaders. With her proven track record in economic development and community engagement, Chris is well-positioned to ensure the organization continues to deliver on its ongoing projects and commitments.

The statement continued:  This strategic approach will enable Cornerstone Alliance to maintain its current momentum and continue progressing on existing initiatives. The team remains dedicated to advancing the organization’s mission while the Board of Directors conducts a thorough search for a permanent CEO and President.

“We are confident that John Janick and Chris Frank will provide the strong leadership needed during this transitional period,” said Pam Kyln, Vice Chairperson of the Board of Directors at Cornerstone Alliance. “Their combined expertise and commitment to our mission will ensure that we stay on track and continue to make significant strides in our economic development efforts.”

Klyn said the Board of Directors is committed to a comprehensive and diligent search process to identify the best candidates for the permanent CEO and President role. Further updates will be provided as the process continues.
