Corewell Health in Southwest Michigan is welcoming board-certified pulmonologist, Narayana Gandham, MD, to the medical staff. Dr. Gandham will see patients alongside three other board-certified pulmonary and critical care specialists, Michael Burton, MD, Katie Fitton, DO, Jeffrey Grondin, MD and two advanced practitioners, Patricia McCarthy NP and Alexis Willmore PA, inside their practice at Corewell Health St. Joseph Hospital.
Dr. Gandham completed a fellowship in pulmonary critical care at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan, and a residency in internal medicine at MacNeal Hospital through Loyola University in Illinois. He earned his medical degree from Rangaraya Medical College in India.
“My mission is to improve the quality of life for patients with various pulmonary conditions by providing compassionate, evidence-based care and empowering them to live their fullest lives,” said Dr. Gandham.
The pulmonology team at Corewell Health diagnose and treat conditions that affect the lungs and respiratory system such as pneumonia, asthma, COPD, tuberculosis, emphysema, and complicated chest infections.
