As southwest Michigan begins to enjoy some warmer temperatures, the team at the Coloma/St. Joseph KOA Holiday readies their park to welcome guests for the 2022 camping season which officially starts next week Friday, April 15.
“Spring time is a great time to go camping where people can get break their cabin fever and get outdoors, enjoy smaller crowds and milder temperatures, and maybe even try out the new recreational vehicle they bought last year,” said Mark Lemoine, Owner of Fifth Level Hospitality, which operates the campground. “But don’t delay, most campers are planners and reservations are pouring in as well for our peak summer and fall seasons.”
Coming off of last year with their most recent expansion project, Lemoine reminds folks that they also have ten camping cabins and seven deluxe cabins now available right at the start of the season, and the three glamping tents are expected to be ready for guests by early May.
As they open their gates to the public, they announce their schedule of events which includes:
Chainsaw Artist (April 30),
Care Camps Charity Weekend (May 13-14),
Christmas in July (July 22-23),
Wacky Water Weekend (August 19-20),
KOA Rewards Weekend (September 9-10), and their increasingly popular
Harvest/Halloween Weekends the first three weekends of October.
