Celebrate National Travel and Tourism Week in South Haven

In collaboration with the Pure Michigan campaign, the South Haven/Van Buren County Convention And Visitors Bureau (CVB) is hosting a celebration on Thursday, May 11th, as part of the 2023 National Travel & Tourism Week.

The community is invited to enjoy a full day of activities at Huron Street Pavilion, including six local food trucks, live music and a live recording and webcast of Under The Radar. Admission is free for all attendees.

“We are so excited to be one of the 5 communities hosting Pure Michigan for National Travel & Tourism Week,” said Jennifer Sistrunk, Executive Director of the South Haven Convention & Visitors Bureau. “This is going to be a great celebration for visitors and locals of all ages to celebrate the tourism industry and its incredible impact on the South Haven community.”

The festivities begin at 12pm with the opening of the Food Truck Frenzy, featuring Fruit Street Kitchen, El Amigo Pepe, Momma’s TJM BBQ, and VanHorn Concessions. DJ Trenton Trim will be spinning his favorite rock and dance tunes on vinyl from 12pm-5pm, and beach rockers Nautic Bound will be performing live from 5pm-7pm. At 7pm, Dave Lorenz of Travel Michigan and Tom Daldin of Under the Radar will be interviewing stars of South Haven’s travel and tourism industry for a live webcast.
