What else do you hope to accomplish by the age of 40?
I will be the leading active swimwear company in SWMI, expanding nationwide. I will also expand my homeownership throughout Southwest Michigan and surrounding areas.

Who inspires you most?
My daughter inspires me the most. She encourages me to continue to work hard at my goals so that she never has to question whether she is capable of achieving hers.
That one thing about you we’d be most surprised to learn.
I love watching and trying new sports. I also have dreams of becoming a news reporter or sports commentator.
What do you love to do in your downtime?
I like to read, write, learn new things, volunteer in my community, and practice cosmetology.

Providing youth with new experiences, resources, tools and knowledge for them to love and live in their highest of originality.
What motivates you to give back to your community?
The idea of serving a bigger purpose and mission outside of myself. I love to see the joy and happiness in my community members, the ones volunteering with me and the ones we are volunteering for.
What Superpower would you most love to have? (for example, the ability to fly or to be invisible, or incredible strength, etc)
The Ability to fly so that I can see the world and help as many people as possible without restrictions.
What would you like to leave behind as your legacy once you are gone?
I would like to leave behind a clear future for my child/children to be able accomplish all of their goals and for God to tell me job well done my daughter.
What does the honor of being named to the 40 Under 40 most mean to you?
Being named 40 under 40 reassures me that my contribution to the community does not go unnoticed and although God places me where he wants me to be, it can sometimes be clouded by the everyday struggles with living in Benton Harbor. This gives me the push and drive I need to continue my journey and path God set for me.
