Box Factory for the Arts Reprises Holiday Makers Market on Small Biz Saturday

We are increasingly a community of makers in Michigan’s Great Southwest. The rapid rise of artisans on seemingly every scale is never-ending, and that’s a good thing for all of us. From the Makers Trail that showcases the prolific line up of wine makers, craft brewers and distillers in our midst to the multiple crafts fairs, and even the Mini Maker Faire each year below the bluff, we love to show off what we can do.

Now comes the Box Factory for the Arts with their fun and festive Holiday Makers Market just in time for the vibrant season.

Artists & Makers will be setting up booth spaces throughout the Box Factory to create a fun and festive Makers Market just in time for the Holiday Season. On Small Business Saturday, you can support local artists and makers and join the Box Factory for what will be so much more than just a “shopping experience.” The Holiday Makers Market at the Box will take place on Saturday, November 24th from 10 am to 6 pm.

Exquisite handmade artisan items will be featured from over 35 local artists and makers, so you are sure to find special gifts for everyone on your list. Many native Box Factory Artists themselves will also have their studios open.

You can make a day of it and enjoy food and drink offerings as well. They will launch the day with mimosas and a Bloody Mary bar. Wine will be available from Domaine Berrien Cellars and they’ll be serving a selection of craft beers, including beer from Silver Harbor Brewing Company. They knew you’d be hungry, so Cheyenne Galbraith of Potluck Truck will be on hand with some great eats for purchase from noon to 6.

Additionally, there will be live music featuring local favorites throughout the day as well. The seriously talented lineup includes:

  • 11:00 Aiden Schnell
  • 12:00 Morgan Ingle
  • 1:00 Kevin Renfro and Marlana Brazier
  • 2:00 Dan Maxon
  • 3:00 Larry Zenk
  • 4:00 Erick Fisher
  • 5:00 Jack Adams

Admission to Makers Market at the Box is just $5.

You can find The Box Factory for the Arts at 1101 Broad Street in St. Joseph.
