The Berrien County Youth Fair isn’t until August, but volunteers and staff are already hard at work preparing, and now they’ve announced the grandstand lineup.
Youth Fair manager Karen Klug tell us everything will start Sunday, August 10 with the Street Legal Pickup Truck and Tractor Pull for its fourth year. It’ll be back again on Monday.
Tuesday, August 12 will bring three free Circus Continental shows because that will be Kids Day. Wednesday will feature headliner, Cooper Alan, a rising country star and influencer who’s racked up more than 250 million streams.
Klug says hitting the stage on Thursday, the BCYF will feature the Riflemen with a different kind of show.
“It’s called From the Vault and it’s a group that’s called the Riflemen and they opened for Lee Greenwood a couple years ago,” Klug said. “They’re going to be singing sets of hits that were from various artists that have performed at the Bering County Youth Fair before.”
Klug says Friday will feature the TNT Demolition Derby, and Saturday will close things out with Bullmania, a rodeo event.
The theme for the fair this year will be “Fiesta at the Fair.”
“We’ve got our t-shirts with our logo that has our traditional logo that’s cow and two kids and the cow is actually our piñata this year with two kids with sombreros on, so just kind of fun stuff.”
The 2025 Berrien County Youth Fair runs August 11 through August 16. Klug notes this is the 80th year for the fair, already five years after its 75th anniversary celebration was scaled down by COVID.
Tickets for the grandstand events will go on sale April 9.
