The New Super Buffet Restaurant in the Pipestone Plaza of Benton Township has posted notice in their doorway that the buffet has been permanently closed.
The restaurant, just down the strip from Big Lots and Burlington Coat Factory at 1956 Pipestone Road had been a fixture in that shopping center for a number of years, but has been seriously hampered by closures and state mandated shutdowns in a business that did not easily translate to carry-out and curbside service to the degree that regular menu service restaurants have been able to adjust.
Restaurant officials posted a simple sheet of paper that reads: “We are closing permanently. Thank you for all these years of support.”
The telephone number has been disconnected, so attempts to reach the owners have been unsuccessful.
