With recommendations against large events for the next two months now taking precedent, another local favorite is being postponed until the fall. The team at St. Joseph Today has announced rescheduling of their first major event of the summer season. Here’s their dispatch today:
Based on the CDC’s recommendation to cancel large events for the next 8 weeks, St. Joseph Today is officially postponing BBQ, Blues & Bluegrass. This event has been rescheduled to Saturday, October 3, 2020.
“This decision was not made lightly, however, the health and safety of our visitors, residents, and members is critical to St. Joseph Today.” said event organizer, Amy Zapal, executive director of St. Joseph Today.
Zapal said that tickets already purchased will be honored for the rescheduled date Saturday, October 3.
Ticket sales will resume in late summer. Please stay tuned for additional information in the upcoming months.
