Every other Friday, from June to September, celebrate community in Benton Harbor during their ‘Arts In The Park’ events, led by the Benton Harbor Arts Association.
The heartbeat of the Benton Harbor Arts District thumps steadily and loud, as the green space behind The Livery is filled with musicians, shoppers, art lovers, food trucks, excited locals, and vendors selling goods and wares.
Friday, August 5th welcomes Mo & Co., a jam band made up of talented musician friends, who delight, and excel, at the task of spreading musical love throughout Southwest Michigan. The concert begins at 6 p.m and is outdoors, so plan accordingly. Lawn seating is first-come first-serve, and you should Bring Your Own Chair/Blanket.
The evening’s food truck will be St. Joseph-based Nola Roux, offering casual Cajun cuisine, on wheels. Their menu is filled with flavor and flair, and they have garnered a massive following this season. Treat your taste buds to delicious fare!
There will be over a dozen artist booths on display during Arts In The Park, and you’ll find artists featuring wares for purchase: jewelry, metal stamping, chainmaille, fiber art, ceramics, notebooks, glass, pottery, plant-based goods, vegan baked goods, natural care products, and so much more.
Find yourself in the heart of the Arts District from 6 p.m – 9 p.m, every other Friday, and enjoy the beauty and fun that Benton Harbor has to offer. Future concert dates and musicians are:
8/19 – Dirty Sally
9/09 – St. Joe Jack
The Benton Harbor Arts Association is a non-profit organization that focuses on promoting the Arts in the Arts District, and the people that make up this fantastic community.
