One of the most popular seasonal events in the Benton Harbor Arts District is this Friday.
The Benton Harbor Arts Association invites the community to Winter Art Hop on Friday December 8 from 5pm to 8pm. The event will feature Christmas carolers, the ‘Too Good To Be Through’ boutique, area artists, creators and music acts, decorated storefronts, dance and glass blowing demonstrations, a free Christmas movie and improv comedy.
Artists and music will be featured inside Benton Harbor Arts District (BHAD) businesses with many businesses serving refreshments. The Art Hop event is open to everyone and dressing for the festive season is encouraged!

Gallery 1-9-6 (196 Water Street at the Brammall Bldg)-Carley Norris (Mixed media and found object wall art and sculptures) and Jennifer Hannigan-Green (colorful abstract paintings)
The Oak Room at The Citadel 91 Hinkley St.-TORP Comedy-HA! HA! HA! Holidays Improv Show (show starts at 7pm- ticket required-https://torp.ludus.com/index.php)
The GhostLight-Free Movie Night. Scrooged. Film starts at 9, doors open at 8. BYOB. No alcohol consumption under 21. ID’s will be checked at door. Costumes welcome!
Citadel Dance Center-91 Hinkley St.-Open house and dance demonstrations by students. (5:30-7)

Yoga Maria’s Christmas Carol Crusade-198 Water St.-Join Yoga, Maria and her merry band of Christmas carolers in front of 3 pillars. They will be taking donations of gift cards to help the current residents of the Emergency Shelter Services Family Shelter have a merry Christmas.
