The legendary talent in the house at Competitive Edge on Red Arrow Highway in Stevensville has grown in stature once again, this time with yet another national award for staff member Catherine Cronkrite.
Cronkrite, who has been with the promotional products superstar company in Stevensville for a decade now, has attained superstar status in her own right by beating out dozens of competitors from well over 135 leading promotional products companies across North America for honors bestowed on her in Las Vegas last month.
Cronkrite traveled to Las Vegas, on January 15th to learn that she had been selected from more than 135 other leading companies in her trade to earn the title of Customer Service Representative of the Year for 2019.
That is an award given annually to a distinguished Customer Service Representative for exceeding all expectations on supplier, customer, and employee standpoints. Distinguishing Catherine is her incredible ability to build trust-filled relationships with suppliers and customers, as well as her above and beyond service to the Competitive Edge team itself.
According to CEO Mary Jo Tomasini, “Catherine is absolutely deserving of this award. She is an amazing relationship builder and she understands the partnership with our suppliers and partners. She is masterful at handling conflict resolution and truly cares about everyone she works with. We are honored to have her on our team and we are so proud of her!”
For her part, Catherine says, “I am incredibly honored to receive this award,” and adds, “I love what I do and am truly humbled to be in an organization with people that I call family who have inspired and supported me.” Catherine is the Lead Customer Service Representative at Competitive Edge. She joined the company back in 2008.
Competitive Edge is one of the largest full-service promotional product distributors in the United States. The company was actually started in a basement by Mary Jo Tomasini. Today, Competitive Edge employs 22 people. Always mindful of developing a successful business within the promotional product industry, Ms. Tomasini and Competitive Edge have been the recipients of many awards locally, regionally and nationally, including the Outstanding Women Business Enterprise of the Year.
