Another Chaotic Day on I-94 in SW Michigan

The legend of Interstate 94 turning into the Bermuda Triangle of Jackknifed Semi Tractor Trailers is gaining new ammunition again today.

Baroda-Lake Township Police posted the photo shown here on Moody on the Market this morning after several semis tangled on the Eastbound I-94 route near the 19.8-mile marker. That completely shut down the Eastbound lanes at that point between Bridgman and Stevensville.

Police with that team suggested online, “I-94 should be avoided. There are several accidents and jackknifed semi’s.”

Slide offs, crashes, semis jackknifing and more have been reported all morning long as slick highways and speeds too fast for conditions lead to an increasing number of wrecks. There was no immediate indication from authorities if anyone was injured in this recent rash of crashes.
