Set for June 9 and 10 is the annual Michigan Flywheelers Museum Swap Meet and Flea Market in South Haven. Museum President Pat Ingalls tells us this is one of the organization’s main fundraisers, now in its 25th year. Anyone can come by between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. both days to see what more than 100 vendors will be selling.
“We never know what somebody is going to bring until the day of the swap meet, so it could be anything from antiques to furniture to knickknacks, everything,” Ingalls said.
Ingalls says the museum started the event as a swap meet for old engine and tractor collectors to find much needed parts, as well as a way to raise funds for operational costs and building projects. It’s been a hit each year for 25 years now. Admission is $2 per person. Admission includes tractor pulls on Saturday, the 10th. For those interested in selling, the cost is $20 per vendor with registration starting June 8. Anyone interested should reach out to the Michigan Flywheelers Museum.
