After years in downtown Berrien Springs, AJ’s Uptown Bar & Grill is embracing a bold new chapter. On Thursday, December 5th, at 5:00 p.m. a special Relaunch and rebranding of AJ’s Uptown Bar & Grill to The Garage on Ferry Street will take place.
The event will include a special VIP ribbon cutting celebration with the Southwest Michigan Regional Chamber at 6:00 p.m. with a full public relaunch party on Friday, December 6th at 9:00 p.m.
Under new ownership since April, the name change represents a continued and evolving commitment to honor the long-standing legacy prior owners Roger and Lonna Johnson built within the Berrien Springs community, while launching a new era for owners Rick Moreci and William Ranick.
Complete with a fresh look and feel that ushers in a new era of entertainment, Moreci and Ranick have committed to maintaining the AJ’s traditions of great food and drinks that patrons have enjoyed for years.
“The Garage on Ferry Street is more than just a new name—it’s a fresh start that reflects our evolving identity,” said Moreci. “We’re excited to continue offering the same great service our customers know and love, with even more to look forward to. New name, new entertainment, same great atmosphere!”
Beginning Friday, December 6th, guests will enjoy a reimagined menu featuring several new dishes; an all-new specialty cocktail menu designed to elevate your night out with fresh flavors; and new entertainment options, including a Pool Table and Darts, Movie Night Mondays, Trivia Tuesdays, Musical Bingo Thursdays, and a fresh revamp of Karaoke on Saturdays.
Attendees at the public relaunch party on December 6th, starting at 9:00 p.m. will enjoy:
- A live DJ spinning the best beats all night long;
- Promotional giveaways throughout the evening;
- Signature cocktails to toast to the new era of The Garage on Ferry Street!
“We are most excited about the many possibilities this new name will bring. While we’re updating our menu and offering fresh entertainment, we’re staying true to the core values of both Wolf’s Prairie and AJ’s Uptown, two beloved pillars of the Berrien Springs community,” adds Moreci.
