About the Artists:
Bev Rage & the Drinks are a loud, fast, and brash queer garage-pop band from Chicago. Fronted by guitarist Beverly Rage, a 7-foot tall drag queen with hair and heels, the band is known for their riveting live show of all original songs, rarely breaking the 3 minute mark.
Formed in 2015, the band has traveled across the midwest and shared the stage with bands such as Pansy Division, A Giant Dog, Hunx & His Punx, Shonen Knife, Marc Rebillet, and many more.
Opener Lady Stardust: With a deep love for deep tracks from the complete Bowie catalog, this all-female ensemble invites audiences to sing along and re-imagine Bowie’s iconic music through a unique acoustic lens.

Hedwig and the Angry Inch is a 2001 American musical comedy-drama film written for the screen and directed by John Cameron Mitchell. Adapted from the critically acclaimed off-Broadway rock theater hit, “Hedwig and the Angry Inch” tells the story of the “internationally ignored” rock singer, Hedwig, and her search for stardom and love. Hedwig develops a relationship with a younger man, Tommy, becoming his mentor and musical collaborator, only to have Tommy steal her music and become a rock star. The film follows Hedwig and her backing band, the Angry Inch, as they shadow Tommy’s tour, while exploring Hedwig’s past and her forced gender identity.

Dylan Reed Leavitt was the winner of The Acorn’s 2020 Singer-Songwriter Competition. Her original style and natural audience rapport has built her a significant following. She also has impressive vocal ability – effortlessly moving between high and low pitches, incorporating interesting embellishments and adding dynamic expressiveness. In addition, Dylan is an accomplished musician and singer-songwriter.
