A Voter’s Guide to Tuesday’s Michigan Primary from BridgeMI.com

Michigan’s Primary Elections are Tuesday, August 2.

If you’re like most Michigan voters, you’re probably confused after all the district voting lines were re-drawn by a citizen panel, aimed at avoiding the ‘gerry-mandering’ of the past.  Some say it was a noble experiment that all states should learn from.  Others think it was a miserable failure that carried ‘numerical balance’ to an extreme, splitting townships, defined neighborhoods, and even residential blocks into different state or congressional districts.   Only time will tell.

As you prepare to go to the polls next Tuesday, BridgeMichigan, the non-profit, non-partisan newsroom in Lansing has prepared an excellent online Voters Guide to Michigan Elections 2022.    MoodyOnTheMarket.com  encourages you to use it to learn about the ballot before you go to the polls.
