Dervin began the company in 2005 providing basic excavating services as well as specializing in services related to the septic industry. He has been purposeful with his communication and services to be ecologically friendly, provide innovative solutions for recycling wastewater, and be at the forefront of responsible clean professional septic services. This vision has gained regional and national recognition of excellence within the industry.
In your own words, why do you think this company deserves to be declared to be one of the 20 Best Places to Work in Michigan’s Great Southwest?
This is a family-based company that offers a place to develop various skills related to customer service, trucking, operating equipment, mechanics, and business management. The salary package is competitive and available for individuals who may not have a university degree. Being a small business, it provides personal attention to its employees and provides training for their personal success.

Workers are motivated at Dig-It because its service is respected in the region. They consistently provide efficient solutions to proposed challenges. The equipment used is always new and well-maintained reducing on-the-job frustration and facilitating satisfaction of the job completed well.
