My momma, she’s a saint!
That one thing about you we’d be most surprised to learn.
I love learning but absolutely hated formal schooling. I much prefer hands on experience.
What do you love to do in your downtime?
I love spending time with my husband and our dog, visiting friends and family, gardening, reading, going to the lake, baking, and playing hockey.
What book are you reading now?
Malibu Rising by Taylor Jenkins Reid
Volunteer activity you love the most.
You can find me at every Cassopolis Main Street event! Beach Bash, Rock the Block Summer Concert Series, Christmas in Cassopolis, and Stone Lake Ice Fishing Bowl.
What motivates you to give back to your community?
Nothing is better than seeing people enjoy Cassopolis. Seeing kids have a blast at the beach, seniors dancing to live music, families going for a walk, old friends catching up downtown – little things like that make my heart happy and help keep the momentum going.
What Superpower would you most love to have? (for example, the ability to fly or to be invisible, or incredible strength, etc)
Being invisible would be pretty cool.
What would you like to leave behind as your legacy once you are gone?
Once I am gone I hope to be remembered as someone who cared deeply and did what they could to make a difference.
What does the honor of being named to the 40 Under 40 most mean to you?
I am humbled and honored! It is a reflection of all the people who have supported me and invested in me, for which I am truly grateful. It takes a village!
