Hanson International, headquartered in St. Joseph, has announced the promotion of Heath Weich from director of sales to vice president of sales. In his new role, Weich’s responsibilities include developing long-term sales strategies, setting revenue goals and achievement plans, driving Hanson’s market expansion in the automotive industry and representing the sales team in board and leadership meetings.
“Heath has consistently demonstrated an ability to drive our sales growth and solidify our customer relationships,” said Hanson International President Julie LaVanway. “His expertise is unparalleled in the industry.”
LaVanway highlighted Weich’s extensive career, which includes 23 years of building world-class molds and dies on the shop floor, 13 years in direct sales and over a year as director of sales. She noted that he continually challenges the mold and die makers and sales team to create innovative solutions that enable Hanson’s customers to stay ahead of ever-evolving industry demands.
“Heath’s leadership and passion for quality has earned the deep respect of our employees and partners alike. He is invaluable in every market we serve.”
After finishing high school, Weich joined the company in 1988. He started as an apprentice, which led to his journeyman certification.
Weich is married, has a son and daughter and is grateful for their support and encouragement throughout his career. Outside of work, he and his son compete in tractor-pulling contests.
