The KOA (Kampgrounds of America) organization has once again singled out Coloma/St. Joseph KOA Holiday Kampground as one of the finest in the nation.
Mark Lemoine, president of Fifth Level Hospitality, which owns the campground explained that the latest award is based on wider and even more challenging criteria.
Over the past year, Kampgrounds of America (KOA) has taken a new approach to recognize campgrounds for their superior excellence, through a new award appropriately named the Icon Award. This new award involves a more targeted criteria that incorporates guest surveys (through the Net Promoter Score), year-over-year growth, and overall brand engagement. It then recognizes the top ten percent of similar size parks across the KOA system.
During this year’s annual convention held in San Antonio, the Coloma/St. Joseph KOA Holiday garnered this award ranking it in an elite class among their peers across the country.
Lemoine said much of the credit goes to his team at the campground, located near Riverside and the I-196 exit.
“Having built an amazing team, we accept this award on their behalf as we work alongside each other to tirelessly serve our guests throughout the year,”. “Even now during our off-season, we continue to plan and prepare for 2025, as we aim to fulfil our goal of once again providing exceptional experiences to our guests.”
“The inspiration comes from a hard-wired motivation that adheres to the “Golden Rule,” treating our guests as we would like to be treated. This recognition also rings true in the words of one of our guests who often says, “The Coloma/St. Joseph KOA Holiday is the standard by which we measure all other campgrounds.”
