What motivates you to give back to your community? I’m motivated to give back to my community because I see it as a collective responsibility to nurture and enhance the vibrant, interconnected network we’ve built over generations. Surrounded by passionate individuals, dynamic businesses, and thriving nonprofits, I feel a profound sense of stewardship. I aspire to be one of the “Helpers” Mr. Rogers spoke of—dedicated to supporting and empowering others to reach their full potential and contribute to a thriving, inclusive community.

What would you like to leave behind as your legacy once you are gone? I’d like to leave a legacy where transformative experiences blend environmental stewardship, mental health, and literacy into a trifecta for success in life. My vision is to create and support programs in Michigan that seamlessly integrate these elements into events that empower individuals to care for the planet, nurture their well-being, and embrace lifelong learning.
