It’s hard to believe, but it’s been TEN years since the Inn at Harbor Shores opened in May, 2014, just in time for the second edition of the KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship. Since then, ‘The Inn’ has become a centerpiece for community and tourism activity in Michigan’s Great Southwest, as well as offering one of the favorite fun destinations for food and drink in Plank’s Tavern.
For locals, Plank’s is likely where you interact with The Inn’s friendly and expert staff, led by Brady Cohen, longtime General Manager of The Inn at Harbor Shores. Brady told us he’s grateful for the community’s support of The Inn over the years and sees nothing but good things ahead as the region continues to develop as a weekend and second-home destination. And he’s pleased that more local residents each year have put The Inn and Plank’s high on their list for a night out, a weekend get-away or just a ‘stop by after work.’
Cohen and Sales Director ElizaBeth Hacker have put together, fittingly, a TEN day celebration for The Inn’s 10th Anniversary. There will be special events going on every day from May 1 thur May 10. They will begin with the release of a special craft beer, GoldINN Anniversary IPA from Watermark Brewing, and conclude Friday, May 10 with a ‘Luau on the Harbor’ in the big tent featuring ‘The Last Mango’s’, a po;ular Jimmy Buffet tribute band.

Anniversary Highlights:
May 1-10: Celebrate with us over ten days packed with special offers, surprises, and giveaways.
May 1: Kick off with a $10 beer and burger special, featuring a new beer crafted exclusively by Watermark Brewing called GoldInn Anniversary IPA.
May 2: Opening day for our Dockside Bar.
May 3: Enjoy wine flights on Friday night at Rise & Vine, we’re calling it Friday Night Flights and it will be going through the summer.
May 4: Special ‘May the Fourth’ themed cocktails and Kentucky Derby cocktails.
May 5: Cinco de Mayo celebrations with $10 Nacho, Taco Platter, and Margaritas.
May 6: Social media giveaway day.
May 7: Tiki Tuesday Preview at our Dockside Bar. This will be an event every Tuesday at our Dockside Bar starting Memorial Day week.
May 8: Gift Basket Giveaway featuring products from The Inn, Spa, Rise & Vine, and Plank’s.
May 9: Comedy show featuring Mike Armstrong, doors open at 6:00 PM, show starts at 7:00PM with tickets priced at $10. purchase tickets here
May 10: ‘Luau on the Harbor: Celebrating 10 years in Paradise!’ from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM in our Riverside Tent with free entry, live music by The Last Mango’s, drink specials, and a pig roast buffet at $20.14 per person (a throwback to the year we opened).
