A longtime technology and events production company in Berrien County is acquiring a smaller firm in the events realm. Ken Kuespert’s TPC Technologies of Niles is bringing DPM Events of Buchanan under the TPC umbrella, according to an announcement from the two firms today.
DPM’s Kate Gassman will join the TPC team.
The statement summarized the merger this way:
While the two companies have often worked in tandem, supporting local events as unofficial “sister companies,” this deal formalizes the arrangement. Over the next year, the two companies will merge into the Niles location, under the TPC Technologies brand, working to support all their clients with even more resources, knowledge, and manpower. Kate Gassman, full-time event producer, and DPM employees are joining the TPC family.
“Both companies have always been community driven, now we can expand our footprint. The possibilities are endless.” said Ken Kuespert, owner and the engineering mind behind TPC Technologies since 1996. Locals can rest assured that TPC will continue to support our local fairs, schools, event centers, casinos, and live events.”
Ken is looking forward to being able to better serve the Michiana market and beyond. Through this merger, TPC has the ability to commit to a greater number of events/shows, like the upcoming summer shows in Biloxi, MS and Lexington, KY.
“Our clients already know that we’re proud to be part of their event family. Now, we can expand on that and more efficiently produce the exceptional events they’ve come to expect and appreciate,” said Gassman.
“For our clients, not much will change, other than the increased capacity to see their ideas come to life at their live events and venues. Always on top of the latest technology trends and advancements, this merger will allow TPC to continue to offer a high standard of design, installation and service.”
