In just 87 days, the 2024 KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship tees off in Benton Harbor, and more local Southwest Michigan makers than ever before are ready to help create (and refresh) the festival atmosphere.
To a crowd of more than 150 people gathered for the Southwest Michigan Regional Chamber’s Business After Hours event held last Thursday at Mason Jar Cafe, 2024 KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship organizers unveiled the full roster of local makers. Each offered samples to the crowd and exuded excitement over getting ready to serve the thousands of golf fans who attend the Championship and stop by the Makers Trail 19th Hole Pavilion.
The list is truly a who’s who of the cream of the crop of local creators of beers, wines, spirits, and other foods and refreshments.
The following are the local purveyors who’ve agreed to support the Makers Trail 19th Hole Pavilion. Noted with each are offerings of special interest they will serve at the Championship:
• Watermark Brewery – At the Championship, they will be serving Bodega
• Silver Harbor Brewery – At the Championship, they will be serving So Heffen Good
• Sister Lakes Brewing – At the Championship, they will be serving Floating ‘Round America Light Lager
• North Pier Brewing – At the Championship, they will be serving Tacklebox
• Round Barn | Tabor Hill Winery – At the Championship, they will be serving Sangria
• Dablon Vineyards – At the Championship, they will be serving Pinot Noir Rose
• Iron Shoe Distillery – At the Championship, they will be serving Vodka & Bourbon
• Watermark Brewery – At the Championship, they will be serving Ranch Water
• Peat’s Cider Social – At the Championship, they will be serving Huntsman
• Lazy Ballerina Winery – At the Championship, they will be serving Mimosa Hard Cider
• River Saint Joe – At the Championship, they will be serving Hop Water

According to the KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship team, The Makers Trail 19th Hole Pavilion is, “an upgraded fan hospitality experience providing attendees with special access to a covered pavilion with comfortable seating, views of play, TVs to keep an eye on the action, and a relaxed atmosphere to enjoy specially crafted beverages.”
The Makers Trail 19th Hole is sponsored by the Southwest Michigan Tourist Council. They are offering a limited number of daily Makers Trail 19th Hole tickets and are expected to sell out. You can find more information at their website.
