A Tractor Supply Company store is coming to Benton Township.
The Benton Township Board of Trustees on Tuesday signed off on the site plan for the store to be located west of the shopping center that houses the Secretary of State office on Mall Drive. There’s land over there currently under development.
The township planning commission previously approved the site plan and recommended the full township board do so.
The planning commission approval came with a recommendation for a drainage easement agreement with the plaza and approval by the Berrien County Drain Commission. It calls for a 16-foot tall fence on the site.
Township trustees gave their approval to the plan with no comment.
The nearest Tractor Supply store is in Stevensville.
