Guitarist Bryan Lubeck is back at The Acorn Theatre in Three Oaks with a special Christmas show to launch his brand-new album Welcome Winter. It’s slated for Saturday, December 16 at 8 pm.
Lubeck is an Amazon #1 best-selling guitarist and a staple of holiday radio across the nation. His live holiday concert includes his radio-played songs, fresh arrangements of holiday favorites, and new musical surprises designed to make your holiday sparkle.
Lubeck, who is known for his fiery Spanish guitar and smooth urban grooves, will be joined by Grammy-nominated saxophonist Nick Bisesi and Ted Yoder, who had a ‘most-watched online’ music video of 2016 with his dulcimer rendition of the Tears for Fears hit “Everybody Wants to Rule the World.” Bryan and his band of top touring musicians and special guests always inspire the spirit of the season.
Welcome Winter is Lubeck’s much-anticipated holiday release. It layers his romantic Spanish guitar stylings with an acoustic ensemble of violins, cellos, dulcimer, melodica, percussion, vibraphones, and unique acoustic instrumentation. In a nod to his childhood inspirations from popular Windham Hill music label artists, Welcome Winter continues Lubeck’s tradition of holiday music.
Lubeck is a Northern Indiana native with strong ties to Southwest Michigan. Over the years, he’s been both an opener and a headliner for many Twin Cities shows, including Smooth Jazz at Siunset at Silver Beach Shadowland Pavilion, St. Joseph High School’s Performing Arts Center, Box Factory for the Arts, and the Mendel Center Mainstage at Lake Michigan College. Having performed for more than 1,000,000 music enthusiasts, Lubeck’s concert credits include industry legends and greats Richard Elliot, Jim Peterik, Rick Braun, Mindi Abair, Brian Culbertson, and Craig Chaquico.
Lubeck’s music has wide-reaching appeal with radio play in all the major instrumental radio formats including Latin, Jazz, New Age, Smooth Jazz, and Adult Contemporary. Millions of streams from his music catalog also point to his enduring and growing popularity. He has honed his show into a perfect blend of romance and high-energy songs with mass appeal across age, cultural, and genre differences.
